1. I Am the Quadrilateral – The Forefather of All!

Hi! I’m Quadrilateral – the great-grandparent of all four-sided shapes. My name literally means "quadri" (four) and "lateral" (sides). I’m the most flexible and accepting of all my descendants. My four sides and four angles don’t have to be equal – I’m all about variety. My only rule? I must have four sides, and the sum of my interior angles must always be 360°. Let me introduce you to my family!

2. I Am the Parallelogram – The Balanced One

Hello! I’m Parallelogram, the disciplined child of Quadrilateral. I always ensure opposite sides are parallel and equal. My opposite angles are also equal. If you fold me along a diagonal, my sides match perfectly. My diagonals? Well, they bisect each other, but they’re not necessarily equal.

3. I Am the Rectangle – The Neat Perfectionist

Hi there! I’m Rectangle, and I come from the Parallelogram clan. But I take things a notch further – all my angles are 90°. That’s right – four perfect right angles!
